Donate to Alcovy Pet Rescue Today
Since May 2, 2005, Alcovy Pet Rescue, Inc. has been a Georgia state-licensed, 501(c)3 Nonprofit Organization.
Your donations have saved lives and will continue to do so. What money we do not get in donations comes out of the volunteers pockets. Our group is run by volunteers who dip into their pockets and schedules on a weekly basis. Without you, we would be unable to continue our efforts in saving these precious babies. We treat these animals as part of our family until we can place them in a loving forever home of their own.
If you cannot adopt, please sponsor one of our deserving dogs. All donations are tax deductible and we will gladly give you a tax receipt. Thank you!

About Alcovy Pet Rescue
Founded in 2005, we are Georgia state-licensed all-breed rescue. We are a group of volunteers who have united together for the sole purpose of saving homeless, unwanted, and abused animals. All animals are examined by our veterinarians, microchipped, and given all their necessary vaccines, including rabies. All of our animals will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Dogs are are also tested and/or treated for heart-worms. For more information on heart-worms please see www.heartwormsociety.org.
We are able to financially accomplish all that we do through our adoption fees, the generosity and discounts of the veterinarians we work with, and the monetary donations. We welcome any tax deductible donations.

We believe that dogs and cats, as living creatures, are entitled to a quality of life with respect and compassion. Inasmuch as humans are responsible for having domesticated pets, we have a moral and ethical obligation to care for the dogs and cats, especially those we have domesticated, who are abandoned, unwanted, or otherwise in need.
We want to instill in our community an awareness of all the dogs and cats whose lives we share, to promote and encourage responsible dog/cat ownership and to stress the importance of spaying/neutering of all companion dogs and cats.
While we do take some owner surrenders on a case by case basis, we intake most of our animals from local metro Atlanta (kill shelters) Animal Controls. Shelter animals are not broken. They have simply experienced more life than other pets. If they were human, we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write—ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage.
Don’t pity a shelter animal. Adopt one! And be proud to have their greatness by your side.

Donate NowVolunteer & Foster Opportunities
We offer volunteer opportunities on Saturdays during PetSmart adoption events. You must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer.
Our volunteers help in a variety of ways from taking foster dogs/cats to the vet to picking up donated food to foster volunteers who are willing to have dogs or cats in their home to care for until we are able to find them a home.
